You understand this is crucial for maximizing speed through the first corner. A strong start could help you pass the two Formula cars ahead, which have already taken their positions on the grid.

Now, ease off the gas and focus on aligning your car with the yellow line marking your starting spot. While maintaining light brake pressure, you edge forward to the legal limit, perfectly positioning your front wing with the white line that defines your grid box.

Next, you pull the paddles on the back of the steering wheel to disengage the clutch and shift from 2nd down to 1st gear. Your Formula car now sits motionless.
