- This game is the first entry in the Essence series, a turn-based classic JRPG.

- You play as an adventurer investigating strange kingdom rumors. Your investigation lands you in prison, forced to clear a dungeon to earn your freedom.

※ Game Tips

1. The goddess can raise your stats, send you back to the dungeon, and save your game.

2. Early on, it's helpful to equip a Great Sword to hit all enemies at once.

3. A handy item in The Wild lets you avoid battles in snake habitats.

4. If an area is too tough, try going deeper to find better gear.

5. Losing a battle costs you half your gold.

6. Evasion is calculated from the Agility difference when battle starts.

7. All status ailments are cured at the end of combat.

8. Weapon special attacks ignore enemy Defense.

9. The maximum gold you can carry is 999G.

10. Check bookshelves for crucial information.

- Attack : powers normal and special attacks

- Defense : reduces damage from physical attacks

- Focus : determines magic attack strength

- Resistance : reduces damage from energy attacks

- Agility : affects evasion chance and turn order
