Story

Here, Superman has been tragically manipulated into killing his pregnant wife, Lois, and millions of civilians in a nuclear mishap. Driven by grief and rage, he eliminates the Joker, the mastermind behind the catastrophe, and begins to impose his tyrannical rule over the world.

With his mind corrupted, Superman now sees himself as the ultimate guardian of peace and order, willing to execute anyone he deems a threat. Realizing the dire consequences of his rule, a group of superheroes, led by Batman, forms the Insurgency to challenge Superman's oppressive regime known as the One Earth Regime.

Despite their valiant efforts, the Insurgency finds itself outmatched and in need of additional strength. Batman devises a plan to bring in superheroes from a parallel universe where the Joker's plot never succeeded, seeking to harness their untapped power.
