Beyond standard Hasami Shogi, this app also lets you play "Prisoner's Base Shogi" and "Surrounding Shogi."

This application allows you to enjoy not just standard piece-capturing Hasami Shogi, but also the variants "Prisoner's Base Shogi" and "Surround Shogi."

● Hasami Shogi Rules

Players are divided into Pawn and Gold sides. You capture an opponent's piece by sandwiching it between your pieces.

The winner is the first player to capture three pieces.

However, due to the fundamental nature of Hasami Shogi, games can sometimes end in a draw (though design efforts have been made, some luck remains a factor).

● Prisoner's Base Shogi Rules

Players are divided into Pawn and Gold sides. The Pawn side wins by moving all its pieces into the opponent's 3x3 territory. Opponent's pieces can be jumped over.

● Surround Shogi Rules

Players are divided into Pawn and Gold sides. You capture opponent pieces by sandwiching them, just like in standard Hasami Shogi. Additionally, you can claim territory by surrounding squares within your frame.

The player who secures three territories or captures six squares of the opponent's frame wins.

For every game mode, the CPU opponent has three difficulty levels. Player vs. Player (PvP) mode is also available.
