While the world of the Living Lands feels expansive in Avowed, the main quest in Obsidian's latest RPG is actually somewhat concise. If you're seeking additional content after completing the story, here's what awaits players after finishing Avowed.

Does Avowed Have New Game Plus?

Many completionist gamers enjoy replaying campaigns with upgraded gear and abilities, especially in RPGs. Unfortunately, Avowed doesn't currently offer this option - at least not at launch.

While New Game Plus isn't available initially, Obsidian may introduce the feature later through updates or DLC. Player demand for NG+ has been strong within the community, making future implementation likely.

Even without official New Game Plus support, Avowed offers compelling reasons for multiple playthroughs. The game's branching narratives and character build diversity create opportunities for significantly different experiences across separate save files.

Does Avowed Have Endgame Content?

Avowed features four primary regions plus secret areas that we won't spoil here. These late-game zones provide the perfect testing ground for players' legendary equipment.

However, these challenging areas don't dynamically scale existing regions, nor do they unlock new explorable content post-completion. Players also can't see the Living Lands transformed by their final decisions after rolling credits.

What You Can Do After You Beat Avowed

With neither New Game Plus nor traditional endgame content, Avowed's post-story offerings are limited. Upon completion, players receive animated sequences showing their choices' consequences before returning to the main menu.

From here, players can either:

• Start fresh with a new character
• Reload pre-finale saves to:
• Experience alternate endings
• Complete missed side content
• Collect remaining items

Unlike some RPGs, earlier regions don't scale with player progression. Returning to starting areas with max-level gear creates entertaining power fantasy moments.
