The second phase of the Blastoise Wonder Pick event in Pokemon TCG Pocket has kicked off, bringing with it a fresh wave of exciting cosmetic rewards. The event shop has been updated to include new Blastoise-themed items such as a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking Blue and Blastoise playmat. These new additions are available until January 28, but players must note that event tickets will no longer be distributed after January 22. Make sure to log in frequently to take advantage of these limited-time offers.

Following a bustling holiday season where Pokemon TCG Pocket generously distributed Pack Hourglasses and free boosters to its players just for logging in, the game's event calendar has seen a lull. Many avid players have already amassed all the cards from the Mythical Island booster packs and are now eagerly anticipating the next expansion, rumored to launch at the end of January. It's confirmed that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions, prompting many to stockpile them in anticipation.

In the meantime, the Blastoise Wonder Pick Event has been revitalized with these new rewards, encouraging daily logins. Players can also trade their surplus event tickets for up to 1,000 Shinedust, with each set of 50 Shinedust requiring one event ticket. This provides an additional incentive to participate actively in the event.

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Has New Rewards

The initial phase of the current Wonder Pick Event commenced on January 6, introducing two new promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander. These cards retain the same attack capabilities as their standard counterparts but boast unique artwork. The rewards from the first part of the event, including a backdrop with the trainer Blue and a cover showcasing Blue and Blastoise, are still up for grabs. The event also introduced new missions that players can complete by engaging in special Wonder Pick choices.

Completing these missions earns players Event Shop Tickets. Missions involve participating in the Wonder Pick and collecting Fire-type and Water-type cards. For those yet to join in, it's worth noting that missions from both event parts are cumulative and can be completed concurrently. The Bonus Pick feature also offers Event Shop Tickets as rewards, making it easier to acquire all the items in the shop. Daily logins are crucial for anyone aiming to collect all the Pokemon TCG Pocket promo cards, especially since the trade feature reportedly won't allow trading of these limited cards.
