Get ready, Call of Duty fans! Activision's official podcast revealed the highly anticipated Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta test dates. This two-part beta offers early access and open access periods. Learn how you can participate.

Two-Phased Beta Access

The Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta launches in two phases:

• Early Access (August 30th - September 4th): Available to players who pre-ordered Black Ops 6 or have active subscriptions to select Game Pass plans.
• Open Beta (September 6th - 9th): Free for all players!

Mark your calendars! The full game releases October 25th, 2024, on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

New Game Mechanics and Features

Treyarch's Associate Director of Design, Matt Scronce, shared exciting details on the podcast:

• Multiplayer Maps: 16 maps at launch – 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps (playable as 6v6 or 2v2).
• Zombies Mode Returns: Two new maps await!
• Omnimovement Mechanic: A brand-new gameplay mechanic.
• Traditional Scorestreaks: Making a comeback, with scores resetting upon player elimination.
• Dedicated Melee Weapon Slot: Carry a knife without sacrificing your secondary weapon!
