DC's All-Star Superman Becomes Full-Cast Audiobook

All-Star Superman consistently ranks among the greatest Superman comics ever, including on IGN's Top 25 list. Now, fans can immerse themselves in this iconic tale in a new format. DC and Penguin Random House are collaborating to release All-Star Superman as a full-cast audiobook, further expanding its reach and appeal.

Meghan Fitzmartin has taken on the task of adapting the story, originally penned by Grant Morrison and illustrated by Frank Quitely. To celebrate this new release, Quitely has crafted a fresh cover illustration, which is showcased below:

Set in a unique universe, All-Star Superman follows Superman, or Kal-El, as he confronts his mortality after an overexposure to the sun's rays. The narrative unfolds with Superman revealing his secret identity to Lois Lane and embarking on a series of heroic feats reminiscent of the 12 Labors of Hercules, culminating in a final confrontation with his nemesis, Lex Luthor.

The All-Star Superman audiobook is set to launch on June 24, 2025, perfectly timed one month before James Gunn's Superman movie premieres in theaters.

Previously, All-Star Superman was adapted into an animated movie in 2011, showcasing its enduring appeal and versatility across different media.
