The successful transition of Charlie Cox's Daredevil from Netflix to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has sparked discussions about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who portrayed Iron Fist in the Netflix series, has expressed his eagerness to return to the role, stating at the LaConve anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, "I’m here and I’m ready."

Jones last appeared as Danny Rand in the second season of the Iron Fist series and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil/Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Despite the lukewarm reception to his portrayal of Iron Fist, Jones remains hopeful. He acknowledged the criticism he received but urged fans and Marvel to give him another chance, saying, "Give me a f\*\*\*ing chance, man. I want to prove people wrong."

Recent reports suggest that Marvel is "exploring" the possibility of bringing back the team. With the Netflix shows now officially part of the MCU canon and available on Disney+, the stage is set for more characters to make their way into the larger universe. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, another character from the Netflix series, is also set to appear in the upcoming "Daredevil: Born Again," which directly continues the story from the Netflix series.

The integration of these characters into the MCU not only enriches the storytelling possibilities but also excites fans who have been following their journeys since the Netflix era. As the MCU continues to expand, the potential return of Iron Fist and other Defenders could offer new adventures and opportunities for redemption.
