Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is launching a closed beta on Android and PC, starting January 15th! Netmarble's new action-adventure title brings a third-person perspective to Westeros.
Sign-ups are open now for the beta, running from January 15th to the 22nd in the US, Canada, and select European regions. This Android beta offers a unique take on the Game of Thrones universe, unlike previous strategy-focused mobile adaptations.
In Kingsroad, you play as the heir to House Tyre, embarking on a journey across Westeros filled with battles and quests for prestige. The gameplay, as seen in the trailer, boasts a Witcher-esque feel with third-person exploration and combat. Players can choose from three distinct classes: Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin.
Don't miss out! Beta registration closes January 12th. While the game looks promising, it will undoubtedly face intense scrutiny from the dedicated Game of Thrones fanbase. Monetization and long-term support will be key factors in its success. However, if Netmarble delivers, it could satisfy the desires of long-time fans for a truly immersive Game of Thrones experience.
