In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there's more to do than just chasing down the largest beasts. If you're looking to unlock the "A Prize Held High" trophy or achievement, here's a detailed guide to help you achieve this goal.

How to Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

Contrary to what the trophy's description might suggest about dragons or wyverns, the actual target you need to capture is the Curioshell Crab. You'll need to use the Capture Net to nab this elusive creature.

Finding the Curioshell Crab can be tricky since it's distributed across various maps. However, the most effective spot we've found is in the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and head towards Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, located between Areas 2 and 6.

Once you reach the Flowering Rocks, focus on the nearby puddle of water, a prime spawning location for the Curioshell Crab. If you're having trouble spotting it, Alma can help; she'll comment if she sees a creature holding something, signaling the presence of a Curioshell Crab nearby.

Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and fire to capture the crab. A successful capture will reward you with both a Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

The Curioshell Crab moves quickly, so anticipate its path and aim ahead to ensure a successful capture. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you can also try your luck in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. While it might appear in other areas, these are the most reliable spots we've tested.
