Hearthstone fans, get ready for an exciting new chapter as Battlegrounds Season 10, dubbed "Second Nature," is set to go live on April 29th, 2025. This season promises a fresh wave of changes, bringing back some beloved elements and introducing new ones to shake things up in the Tavern.
What Does Hearthstone Bring with Battlegrounds Season 10?
As Season 9 concludes and Season 10 kicks off on April 29th, your ratings will reset, and the Track will receive a comprehensive refresh. Any unclaimed rewards from Season 9 will be automatically collected for you, ensuring you don't miss out on your well-earned goodies.
To build anticipation, Hearthstone is rolling out the reveals over several days. On April 18th, you'll get a sneak peek at the Dragons, Demons, and Mechs. Following that, April 21st will showcase Undead and Pirates, while April 22nd will feature Naga and Quilboar. The reveals will conclude with Murlocs and Beasts on April 23rd.
One major change coming with Season 10 is the complete removal of Anomalies from the Tavern. Additionally, turn lengths are being extended, giving you more time to strategize and make your moves.
Trinkets are making a grand return, but they're not the same as before. These passive power-ups can be purchased with Gold and will appear twice during a game—once on turn 6 as Lesser Trinkets and again on turn 9 as Greater Trinkets. Season 10 enhances your chances of getting Trinkets that align with your current minion type. Blizzard is also introducing over 100 new Trinkets alongside more than 100 returning ones, adding a layer of depth to your gameplay.
There Are Two New Heroes
Introducing Forest Lord Cenarius and Buttons, the two new heroes joining Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 10. Cenarius brings the essence of a classic Druid, focusing on ramping up Gold and setting the stage for powerful late-game plays.
Alongside the new heroes, Blizzard is refreshing the minion pool with over 75 new and returning minions and Tavern spells. The Battlegrounds Track will also be reset, offering a fresh start for everyone. Don't forget to download the game from the Google Play Store before the season launches to be fully prepared for the action.
