Get ready for another chance to hunt! Monster Hunter Wilds is hosting a second Open Beta, offering both returning and new players a taste of the action before the full game's release. This extended beta includes exciting new content!
New Monster, New Opportunities
Missed the first beta? Don't despair! The second Open Beta Test runs in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time, you'll face off against the Gypceros, a familiar foe from the series.
Carryover and Rewards
Character data from the first beta carries over, and can be transferred to the full game. While progress won't be saved, your participation earns rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a special bonus item pack to aid your early game adventures.
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, highlighting player demand for another opportunity to experience the game. While the team continues refining the full game, these improvements won't be included in the second beta.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Get ready to hunt!
