Today marks the global release of Alphadia III on Android, the third installment in the acclaimed Alphadia series. Brought to you by publisher KEMCO and developer EXE CREATE, the game originally hit the Japanese market back in October of last year.

What’s the Story in Alphadia III?

Set in the Alphadian Year 970, Alphadia III immerses you in the climactic phase of the Energi War, a sprawling conflict fueled by the pursuit of a mysterious life force known as energi. The world is split among three major powers: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east, each vying for control over this precious resource.

Amidst the chaos, the narrative pivots around a clone soldier named Alfonso. His journey takes a dramatic turn when a girl named Tarte arrives with the somber news of another clone's demise, sparking a pivotal shift in Alfonso's mission and perspective.

What’s the Gameplay Like?

Alphadia III retains the series' signature turn-based combat, presented in a nostalgic side-view with classic pixel art. The gameplay is enriched with systems like SP Skills, which accumulate during battles and can be unleashed at critical moments to turn the tide of combat.

Players can also employ Arrays, tactical battle formations that unlock progressively, offering varied approaches to combat scenarios. A fresh feature, the Energi Crock, allows players to convert surplus items into Energi Elements over time, which can then be traded for equipment or other valuable items at exchange shops.

Throughout the game, you'll encounter various factions, such as the peacekeeping alliance Deval and Nordsheim's elite military unit, Rosenkreutz. Additionally, you'll meet different energi clone models, including Nordsheim's Berger Series and Schwarzschild's Delta Series.

Beyond its compelling main storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controller use. You can purchase the full version on the Google Play Store for $7.99, or opt for the freemium version, which includes advertisements.
