Okamura, in a recent 4Gamer interview, stated that the focus is on completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in 2025. While the game is already playable from start to finish, the team is dedicating the remaining development time to polishing details and enhancing the overall experience.

Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but according to Konami, the launch is now scheduled for next year across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while incorporating modern gameplay mechanics and significantly enhanced visuals. Okamura also hinted at new features designed to improve gameplay.

Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. This over two-minute trailer showcases key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, intense action sequences, and even a thrilling airdrop.
