Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, introduces a thrilling new map: the Sanctum Sanctorum. This iconic location will host a unique 8-12 player Doom Match mode, where the top half emerge victorious. The season also features Dracula as the primary antagonist, with the Fantastic Four leading the charge against his forces.

Beyond the Sanctum Sanctorum, Season 1 will add Midtown and Central Park. Midtown serves as the backdrop for a new convoy mission, while Central Park's features remain largely under wraps, promised for a mid-season update.

The Sanctum Sanctorum map itself is a visual spectacle, blending opulent décor with surreal elements. A sneak peek reveals floating kitchenware, a bizarre refrigerator creature, winding staircases, levitating bookshelves, and mystical artifacts – all within Doctor Strange's residence, even featuring a portrait of the Sorcerer Supreme himself. The trailer also highlights a previously unseen character, Wong, and even Doctor Strange's ghostly canine companion, Bats.

The arrival of the Fantastic Four is another key feature of Season 1. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut on launch day, with Human Torch and The Thing slated for the mid-season update. This influx of new characters and game modes promises a significant expansion to the popular hero shooter. The meticulous detail poured into the Sanctum Sanctorum map, despite its chaotic battle setting, is already generating considerable fan excitement.
