In celebration of its 15th anniversary, Metro is offering Metro 2033 Redux for free, but you'll need to act fast! 4A Games announced via Metro's official Twitter (X) account on April 14 that this special promotion will last only until April 16 at 3 PM UTC / 5 PM CET / 9 AM PT. You can grab the game on Steam and Xbox during this period.

This move by the developers is a fantastic opportunity for new players to dive into the series' origins. Additionally, 4A Games shared an update in a blog post on their official website on March 16, outlining their plans for the anniversary celebrations.

As art became life for many of our developers in Ukraine, we drew from that lived experience to create an even darker story, those themes already present in Metro becoming ever-more apparent and important."
