Monopoly GO and Star Wars Join Forces for Summer Podracing and Lightsaber Fun!

Monopoly GO! is set to embark on an epic journey with its latest collaboration, teaming up with the iconic Star Wars universe. Following the successful Marvel collaboration last year, this crossover marks another monumental partnership for Scopely.

When Is the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab?

The event is scheduled to kick off on May 1st and will continue through to July 2nd. The narrative begins with PEG-E, the beloved Monopoly GO robot, watching Star Wars in Mr. M’s private cinema. As she becomes engrossed in the film, PEG-E dreams herself and her friends into the Star Wars galaxy, transforming the game from a world of properties and hotels to one of Jedi vs Sith and the eternal struggle between the light and dark sides of the Force.

During the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab, players will have the opportunity to collect a new Star Wars GO! sticker album. This album unfolds like a comic book, reimagining parts of the Star Wars universe through PEG-E’s creative lens. The stickers feature beloved characters such as R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.

The traditional Monopoly GO events are getting a Star Wars makeover, with mini-games set on iconic locations like Tatooine and the Mos Espa Grand Arena. Fans might even see Qui-Gon and Mr. M engaging in thrilling podracing.

The event trailer was first showcased at Star Wars Celebration Japan. Beyond the characters and stickers, the gameplay is steeped in Star Wars references, complete with lightsabers, space travel, and galactic vibes.
