Netflix and Supercell have officially confirmed that the globally beloved Clash franchise is heading to the small screen with an all-new animated series. Set within the vibrant universe of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, the show is already in pre-production and promises to expand on the chaotic, humorous world fans know and love.
According to a press release from Netflix, the series will “build upon the mayhem of the games.” The storyline centers around a determined—if slightly outmatched—Barbarian who must unite a ragtag group of characters to protect their village while navigating the hilariously exaggerated politics of war.
The official Clash of Clans social media channels celebrated the announcement with enthusiasm: “Sound the horns, raise the banners, and reinforce your village walls — Clash is invading @Netflix!” they posted alongside a charming teaser video. In it, members of the Supercell development team humorously break the news via a playful FaceTime-style announcement. “We’re making a new animated series starring your favorite mustachioed Barbarian and his high-pitched, hog-riding friends. Charge!”

John Derderian, Netflix’s VP of Animation, expressed excitement about the collaboration. “Clash has been a global gaming phenomenon for over a decade – filled with humor, action, and unforgettable characters perfect for an animated series adaptation,” he said.
He continued, “Working with the incredible team at Supercell, Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner, we’re bringing all the fun, chaos and spirit of the world of Clash to life in a whole new way. We can’t wait for fans - old and new - to experience the mayhem.”
