Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, New Weapons, and More!

Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is getting a major update on February 3rd – Rogue Frontier! This update introduces a thrilling new storyline centered around the Smugglers, rebels challenging the Royal Continent's authority in the lawless Outlands.

Life in the Outlands

The Smugglers have established hidden underground bases known as Smuggler's Dens, serving as vital hubs for players. These dens provide banking, repair services, and act as central points for planning Outlands expeditions. The dens are interconnected via the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated marketplace system spanning the Outlands.

Players can actively participate in the ongoing conflict between the Smugglers and the Royal Guards. Missions include rescuing captured Smugglers and delivering contraband within Smuggler Crates.

Rewards for Loyalty

By assisting the Smugglers, players earn rewards from Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens. These rewards include a Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (with a potion cooldown reduction ability), a Smuggler's Ring, and an Avatar.

The Rogue Frontier update also introduces Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The quality of the loot on the defeated player directly impacts the chance of obtaining a trophy.

New Weapons and Gear

Prepare for battle with exciting new weapons:

• Rotcaller Staff: Summons a chilling mist that repels enemies.
• Skystrider Bow: Allows players to levitate and unleash ranged attacks from above.
• Forcepulse Bracers: Unleash shockwaves as you dash into melee combat.
