Pokémon Go Fest Madrid: A resounding success, filled with love and Pokémon!
The recent Pokémon Go Fest in Madrid wasn't just a massive gathering of Pokémon Go players (as previously reported), it also witnessed a heartwarming surge of proposals! Remember the initial excitement of Pokémon Go's release? While its global dominance may have lessened, its dedicated fanbase remains strong.
This passionate community flocked to Madrid, enjoying rare Pokémon encounters, player meetups, and overall celebration of the game. But the air was filled with more than just Pokéballs; love was in the air too!
At least five couples, sharing a love for Pokémon Go, decided to take the plunge and propose during the event. And the best part? All five received a resounding "Yes!"

Madrid's magical proposals
"It was perfect timing," shared Martina, who proposed to Shaun. "After eight years, six of them long-distance, we've finally settled together. This is the best way to celebrate our new life," she added.
The event, held earlier this month, attracted over 190,000 attendees – a significant number, showcasing the enduring appeal of Pokémon Go. While not on the scale of major sporting events, it's still a remarkable turnout.
Niantic's special proposal package suggests many more proposals likely occurred, even if they weren't captured on camera. This highlights the remarkable role Pokémon Go has played in bringing couples together.
