The latest trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps offers an exciting glimpse into a new Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) world, highlighting the pivotal role of Julia Garner's Silver Surfer. This two-and-a-half-minute clip dives deeper into how Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), the Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) have transformed their universe into a thriving utopia. In this world, Marvel’s First Family is revered as a (growing) team of heroes who not only protect their world but also serve as inspirational figures for people of all ages. However, their harmonious existence faces a new challenge with the arrival of Garner’s Silver Surfer, who descends to warn them of an imminent danger posed by Galactus.

Today's trailer showcases more action than previously released footage. It features Ben Grimm smashing through pillars and gives us an impressive view of Reed Richards’ stretchy abilities. These scenes represent fresh interpretations of the classic powers that the Fantastic Four have been known for over the years, and fans will get to see how these powers synergize in the film, set to release in July.

Julia Garner's portrayal of Silver Surfer truly steals the spotlight. Despite her limited dialogue, warning that this alternate Earth is "marked for death," her character exudes immense power as she effortlessly counters the Human Torch and navigates through explosive chaos. While the trailer keeps Galactus' full MCU appearance under wraps, it does tease his menacing presence with a glimpse of him stomping through a city upon his arrival.
