Catch Records for English/Welsh Under 10m Vessels Fishing in UK Waters

Are you an owner or skipper of an English or Welsh under 10 metre (U10m) vessel fishing in UK waters? Use our intuitive app to easily create and submit your catch records. This tool is essential for ensuring sustainable fishing practices and aiding UK fishing authorities in managing fishing levels effectively.

Who Can Use This Service?

• Registered Vessel Owners: You will receive an invitation email to start using the service. The timing of this email depends on your vessel's size. You must register and begin using the service within one calendar month of receiving the invitation.
• Skippers: If you're a skipper, reach out to the vessel owner to request an invitation to use the service.

Important Note for Producer Organisation Members

If you are part of a producer organisation and lease quota, please do not use this online service. Continue to record your catch using a traditional paper logbook.

What Does This Service Replace?

This new digital service replaces the following:

• The NEP1 form
• The MSAR1 form (note that local Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) may still require additional information depending on your location)
• The requirement to complete a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in two ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe)
