Tute ranks among Spain's most beloved traditional card games.

Across Latin America, Tute enjoys widespread popularity as a social card game. Designed for 2-5 individual players, it can also accommodate four participants playing in pairs.

Players compete to be the first to achieve a predetermined point total using the classic Spanish 40-card deck.

Card hierarchy follows this ranking (highest to lowest): Ace (11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4 points), Knight (3 points), Jack (2 points), followed by number cards 7 through 2 (with no point value).

The leading card establishes the suit for each trick, requiring players to follow suit when possible. Without matching cards, players may use any card (including trumps). The highest trump card wins the trick automatically; otherwise, the highest card of the original suit takes the trick.
