How to play Batak Trump Spades:

Number of Players: 4

The game uses a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives 13 cards. All spades are trump cards.

In Swamp Trump Spades, only spades can be declared as trump.

The objective is to predict how many tricks you'll win before the game starts and then achieve at least that number.

Starting with the player to the dealer's right, everyone states their predicted trick count, which gets recorded on the scoreboard.

Gameplay:

The next player leads with any card if none is on the table. If a card is already played, follow suit if possible.

If you cannot follow suit, play a trump card. Otherwise, play any card.

Scoring:

After each round, scores are calculated based on the difference between your initial bid and actual tricks won:

If you meet or exceed your bid:

10 × Bid amount + (Tricks won - Bid amount) points

If you win fewer tricks than your bid:

-10 × Bid amount points

Special case for zero-bid players:

+50 points if no tricks are won, -50 points if any trick is won

Settling occurs when you fail to meet your bid at the round's end.
