May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Confirmed

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, catering to a diverse range of gaming preferences. Announced via a detailed PlayStation.Blog post, the new additions promise to enhance the gaming experience for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers starting May 20, 2025.

Subscribers at the Extra tier will have access to nine new titles, headlined by Sand Land, an action RPG based on the beloved manga by Akira Toriyama. This game is available on both PS4 and PS5, offering fans a chance to explore a richly detailed world.

Other notable additions for PS4 and PS5 include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter has been enhanced for the PS5, with the upgrade also available for PC and Xbox Series X | S. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

For PlayStation Plus Premium members, the classic title Battle Engine Aquila joins the catalog. This sci-fi action game, playable on both PS4 and PS5, lets players command a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in both aerial and ground combat.
