Even if the gameplay of Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus isn't for everyone, it undeniably delivers a faithful Warhammer 40k experience—right down to Imperial factions receiving far more spotlight than others. By sheer coincidence, the newest addition is the Adeptus Custodes.

Setting aside any personal misgivings about the Golden Boys, the Adeptus Custodes usher in a new era of dominance on the battlefield. As the Emperor's personal guard, they are to Space Marines what Superman is to Captain America, equipped with the finest weapons and gear, and towering in stature.

Shield-Captain Trajann Valoris will spearhead the new Custodes faction in an upcoming Legendary event beginning this month. Launching on May 24th, this Survival Event is a punishing trial that will challenge even the mighty Adeptus Custodes.

Debuting as part of the Warhammer Skulls gaming showcase—which also revealed Supremacy: Warhammer 40,000—it's no surprise Tacticus opted for a major faction. Unfortunately, fans of the Leagues of Votann will have to wait a bit longer for their arrival.
