Alolan Mon in Pokémon TCG Pocket: Celestial Guardians

Pokémon TCG Pocket is officially launching the Celestial Guardians expansion this month. The worldwide release arrives on April 30th, 2025, transporting players to the tropical Alola region under its iconic celestial duo – the Sun and Moon.

What's New in Pokémon TCG Pocket Celestial Guardians Expansion?

The Celestial Guardians expansion introduces two new digital booster packs featuring Solgaleo and Lunala as the headliners. Fans will also encounter Lillie and other familiar characters from the Alola era.

This collector-focused update delivers over 200 new cards, including powerful Pokémon ex versions of Solgaleo and Lunala. The expansion finally brings Alola's starter trio – Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio – to the mobile app for the first time.

Limited-Time Events and Rewards

From April 30th (06:00 UTC) to May 13th (05:59 UTC), players can participate in solo battles to earn exclusive promo cards featuring legendary dragon Rayquaza ex.

Special missions running concurrently until May 29th (05:59 UTC) offer chances to obtain an alternate Rayquaza ex variant plus cosmetic accessories and other bonuses.

The celebration continues with Pokémon TCG Pocket's six-month anniversary event starting April 29th (23:00 PDT), launching just before the expansion's debut.

Until May 12th, solo battles will distribute Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 boosters containing the new Rayquaza ex promo card as the featured prize.
