Amazon Slashes Prices on GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PCs

Author: Mila May 16,2025

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card hit the market in late February with an initial price tag of $749.99, but finding it at that price is almost impossible. Like the rest of the Blackwell series, scalpers and even manufacturers have driven up the prices, making it difficult to snag one for less than $1,000. However, there's a smart workaround: opt for a prebuilt gaming PC. Amazon currently offers CyberpowerPC RTX 5070 Ti gaming desktops starting at $2,069.99. This is a great deal, especially since the RTX 5070 Ti performs nearly as well as the RTX 4080 Super, even without considering the benefits of DLSS 4. The best deal on an RTX 4080 Super gaming PC that I've found is at HP for $2,299.99. Unless you're set on a specific brand, going for one of these prebuilt systems might be your best bet.

My top pick is the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme gaming PC, which comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. In our review, Jackie Thomas praised the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, stating, "the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is extremely powerful in games, making it easier to recommend than other recent processors like the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or Ryzen 9 9900X. Especially if you’re building a rig with a powerful graphics card, the 9800X3D is the best way to maximize performance."

Among the Blackwell cards released so far, the RTX 5070 Ti offers the best value for money, especially when compared to the previous generation GPUs. It performs almost as well as the RTX 4080 Super and even outshines the RTX 5080, which is only about 10%-15% faster but costs 33% more. This GPU can handle high framerates in nearly all games, even at 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled. If you're considering using this card for AI tasks, the RTX 5070 Ti might be a better value than the RTX 50870, as both come equipped with the same 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"At $749, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the best 4K graphics card for most people, offering much better value than either the RTX 5080 or 5090. Across my entire test suite, this GPU excelled at 4K, coming close to much more expensive graphics cards, and that’s before considering multi-frame generation, which will make the RTX 5070 Ti even better at achieving extremely high framerates, albeit with a slight increase in latency."

HP is currently offering its top-tier HP Omen 45L gaming PC, equipped with a 14th-gen Intel Core i7-14700K CPU and GeForce RTX 4080 Super GPU, for just $2,299.99 after a $700 instant discount. This is one of the most powerful gaming PCs from HP right now and can handle any game at up to 4K resolution. It performs nearly identically to the new RTX 5070 Ti GPU and is about 10% less powerful than the RTX 5080 GPU, with the same amount of VRAM (though it uses GDDR6 instead of GDDR7).
