Crashlands 2's major update, version 1.1, has just been released by Butterscotch Shenanigans, bringing a host of new features and enhancements that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly anticipating. Here’s what you can expect from this exciting update:
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
The update introduces Legend Mode, offering a higher difficulty level than the existing Challenge Mode. In this mode, enemies on Woanope are faster, deal more damage, and boast significantly higher health points. Conversely, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile. While there are no additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels.
For players who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing you to focus on farming mushrooms, building a charming home, and fishing without the constant threat of danger. It's the perfect way to immerse yourself in the story, decorate your base, and enjoy the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
A key feature returning in this update is The Compendium. Responding to player feedback, the developers have reintroduced this tool that tracks everything Flux discovers, including pets, recipes, and items you need to collect to achieve your goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 now actively participate in battles, each equipped with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. This adds a new layer of strategy to your adventures.
Gear crafting has also seen significant improvements, with random bonus stats now appearing on crafted armor. The update also introduces a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets, enhancing your gameplay options.
Quality of life improvements are plentiful in Update 1.1. You can now build on a wider range of terrains, customize the location of your home teleporter, and adjust the darkness settings at night for a more personalized experience.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store, having launched on April 10th. This patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to and acting on player feedback.[ttpp]
