Hearthstone's Day of Rebirth Mini-Set Adds 38 Cards

Hearthstone's latest release is the Day of Rebirth Mini-Set. This update introduces 38 new cards featuring undead dinosaurs, primordial magic, and a festive theme honoring the Tortollan dinosaur-hatching traditions of Un'Goro Crater.

What the Day of Rebirth Mini-Set Offers

The core of this update is the Egg of Khelos, the key to unlocking ancient power. The 38 new cards include 4 Legendaries, 1 Epic, 17 Rares, and 16 Commons. You can obtain them from 'The Lost City of Un'Goro' card packs or buy the complete 72-card mini-set directly.

One of the standout Legendary minions is Beast Speaker Taka, who channels primal energy. Her Battlecry lets you Discover a Legendary Beast and copy its stats. Upon death, her Deathrattle summons that same Beast, making her a powerful swing card in any situation.

Another key theme involves ancient masks that disguise minions as iconic prehistoric Beasts. For instance, the Devilsaur Mask channels the ferocity of King Krush. See it in action below!

The Story Behind the Tortollan Festival

The festival illuminates Un'Goro with bonfires, parades, fireworks, and tales, celebrating the imminent hatching of the ancient Egg of Khelos after countless generations. Blizzard is marking the occasion with several in-game events.

The Day of Rebirth celebration runs from September 2nd to 23rd, hosted by City Chief Esho. Completing event quests rewards you with items like 4 'The Lost City of Un'Goro' Packs, a Golden pack, the Rebirth Celebration Card Back, and the Rebirth Coin.

When the festival concludes, Hallow's End begins on September 23rd and continues until October 14th. Participating can earn you 2 'The Lost City of Un'Goro' Packs, 2 Random Commons, 2 Random Rares, 2 Random Epics, a Random Legendary card, and the Nightmare Zail Hearthstone Hero Skin.

To acquire the mini-set itself, the standard version costs $14.99 or 2000 Gold. The all-Golden edition is $69.99 or 10,000 Gold and includes a Diamond version of Beast Speaker Taka.
