In our review of Devil May Cry Season 1, we noted: "While Devil May Cry has its flaws - including awkward CGI, some cringe-worthy humor, and predictable character arcs - Adi Shankar and Studio Mir have created an entertaining video game adaptation that serves as both a loving tribute and satirical take on 2000s American pop culture.
If nothing else, it showcases some of the most impressive animation you'll see this year, and its climactic finale perfectly sets the stage for an even more outrageous second season."
The Season 2 announcement comes as no surprise, given that series creator Adi Shankar had previously revealed plans for a "multi-season story arc."
