You just need to know where to fast travel and which directions to follow. Of course, always stay alert, but if you've made it this far in Avowed, you're likely prepared for any challenges.

In Avowed, the Practical Pockets Map treasure is located northeast of the Ranger Headquarters in Emerald Stair, as shown in the marked map image above.

After fast traveling to the Rolling Crags Beacon, turn right and head straight, keeping the Ranger Headquarters on your right. Continuously check your map to ensure your character's cursor is moving toward the marker. You'll reach a cliff with a slight drop, but be cautious not to get lost and encounter unwanted powerful enemies.
