Epic Games Offers Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Limbo for Free

The Epic Games Store is offering a beloved indie game and the latest Borderlands title as this week's free PC games.

This is a particularly notable addition to Epic's long-running weekly giveaway program, where a variety of titles become available at no cost to all users. From now until next Thursday, June 5, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, PC players can add Playdead's breakout hit, Limbo, and Gearbox's Dungeons & Dragons-inspired Borderlands spinoff, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, to their permanent libraries.

After the offer expires, these games will no longer be free to claim. Even if you don't play on PC frequently, it's worth logging into your Epic Games Store account to secure both titles for your collection.

Released in early 2022 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a Borderlands side story. It swaps the series' signature sci-fi settings for a fantasy realm, introducing new weapon types and deep character customization to refresh the classic looter-shooter formula. Featuring a star-studded voice cast including Andy Samberg, Wanda Sykes, and Will Arnett, we found it to be a worthy addition to the franchise, awarding it an 8/10 in our review.

Limbo, by contrast, is a minimalist adventure where players guide a young boy through a stark, monochromatic, and hostile world. According to HowLongToBeat, this poignant story takes just over three hours to finish, yet its impact has resonated with gamers for nearly 15 years. We scored it a 9/10 in our original review.

These titles follow last week's free Epic Games Store offerings of Deliver Us At All Costs, Gigapocalypse, and Sifu. Once they rotate out, a new batch of free games will be announced.
