Consider getting a desk frame here and the desktop surface elsewhere

I own three standing desks. One came with a desktop, but for the other two, I sourced my own surfaces. For one, I bought a large 74"x26" maple veneered countertop from Ikea for $199, and for the other, a 48"x25" solid wood countertop from Home Depot, which I finished myself. You can't go wrong with either choice, and there are plenty of options out there. Remember, you don't need to stick with the manufacturer's desktops; as long as your chosen surface falls within the weight limits, you can customize your setup.
