A post from the Fortnite Festival Twitter account strongly suggests the collaboration. The official Hatsune Miku account, managed by Crypton Future Media, posted about a missing backpack. The Fortnite Festival account responded, implying they had it, hinting at Miku's imminent arrival before a formal announcement. This subtle confirmation contrasts with the account's usual cryptic approach.

Fortnite's January 14th Update and Hatsune Miku

Leakers like ShiinaBR predict a January 14th launch, coinciding with the next game update. Two skins are expected: a standard Miku skin (included with the Fortnite Festival Pass) and a "Neko Hatsune Miku" skin (available in the Item Shop). The origin of the Neko Miku design remains uncertain.
