Elden Ring Patch 1.01.4 Released With Minor Fixes

Author: Dylan Mar 12,2026

FromSoftware has deployed a new patch for Elden Ring Nightreign, focused on addressing bugs rather than introducing new features or balance adjustments.

Update 1.01.4 is now live across all platforms. Key highlights include the addition of weapon type information in each Armament Information menu, a fix for persistent matchmaking failures that occurred when two players simultaneously joined and left a team, and several achievement-related corrections.

The patch also resolves an exploit that allowed playable characters to revive from a near-death state during the third-day boss fight by exiting a session and returning from the title screen. Complete patch notes are listed below.

This update does not include the highly anticipated duos mode, which FromSoftware has confirmed is still in development. The studio promises further updates as their first live service game continues to evolve.

In other news, FromSoftware announced that the Sentient Pest's Everdark Sovereign variant will arrive in Limveld today, July 7, at 6 PM PDT.

Bug Fixes

The Weapon Type is now displayed in every Armament Information menu. Fixed a bug causing continuous matchmaking failure after two players joined and left a team simultaneously. Fixed an issue where acquiring the “It's Raining!” gesture in Multiplayer would not register correctly.

Note: You can obtain this gesture by meeting the conditions, even if you've met them previously.

Fixed a bug where playable characters could revive from a near-death state during the third-day boss battle by leaving a session and returning from the title screen. Fixed a bug that prevented background music from playing correctly in the Recluse Remembrance under specific conditions. Fixed an issue where the “The Crater” achievement for clearing the “Shifting Earth: Crater” area would not be awarded if the game was quit immediately after meeting the clear conditions.

Note: Meeting the “Crater” clear conditions again will grant you clearing credit, even if you already have the achievement.

Addressed various other minor bugs.
