Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options for operations. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently changed, Combat Items—consumable resources with various uses—are often limited. You'll occasionally receive Combat Items as operation rewards, but this isn't always sufficient. Initially, you can only equip one Combat Item; this guide addresses both issues.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip multiple Combat Items, you need the correct Entitlements. In your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then tab right to find the One-Item Permit. Subsequent permits allow equipping up to four Combat Items.
These permits become available quickly, usually by CODE level 3. Permits unlock sequentially; you'll see the next one only after purchasing the previous. Equipping a Combat Item equips your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, uses all currently held grenades at the operation's start. Your Accessory can also equip one Combat Item.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
After progressing beyond the initial missions, you'll access The Warren HUB area. Zakka's store (located on the upper level, right side) sells weapons and allows purchasing items via the "Buy Items" option, accessing Munitions and Medical Supplies lists:
- Munitions: Items that directly damage enemies.
- Medical Supplies: Items for healing, curing ailments, or ammunition replenishment.
Combat Items are individually priced; purchasing many can be expensive in Entitlement Points. Donating old resources is advisable if you need many Medkits. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
