Dragon Survivors Game Adds Major Update Next Month

Portugal-based indie studio Coregames' release, "Dusk of Dragons: Survivors," has been warmly welcomed, surpassing 500,000 downloads on Google Play alone. The studio has now announced that its biggest update, aptly named "Summer Vibes," will launch on June 19th.

What's new? For starters, you can use the new Elemental Contract to build alliances and befriend the game's dragons. Growth Challenges offer the chance to level up while completing limited-time missions with generous rewards. A new cross-server raid—the Space-Time Battlefield—presents a cosmic-scale challenge, with rare loot and auction rights up for grabs.

But that’s not all! Also included are the introduction of the Cryo Dragon, the Bounty Team system that lets you set rewards for targeting enemies, Recharge Rewards, Camp Activities, daily login events, and a Summer Sale!

For many indie studios, sustaining long-term support for a title like Dragon Survivors is challenging enough, not to mention expanding it with new content. However, the sheer volume of new features suggests Coregames is fully dedicated to the game's success.

I’m particularly intrigued by the new Bounty System. While it may seem unusual to introduce mechanics that deliberately provoke conflict between players, I imagine many of you relish the idea of having an in-game rival to spar with—or survive against.
