The latest beta build for Version 5.4 has updated the Event Banners for the upcoming patch in Genshin Impact, providing more details on which 4-Star characters will join Mizuki, Wriothesley, Sigewinne, and Furina. As Version 5.3 concludes the Archon Quest in Natlan, Version 5.4 will bring players back to Inazuma. Although it won't feature a new map expansion, its Flagship Event will focus on the yokai of Inazuma, spotlighting Yae Miko and Ei.
Arguably, the highlight of Version 5.4 is Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst from Inazuma. Mizuki is set to become a Standard Banner character, and her Signature Weapon is generating significant interest. Her ability kit resembles a healing version of Sucrose, though her rotation has been critiqued for being too passive. Nevertheless, Mizuki has received consistent buffs throughout the beta testing phase.
Thanks to HomDCCat's datamining efforts, Genshin Impact players now have insights into the majority of the 4-Star characters slated for the Version 5.4 Event Banners. Wriothesley and Mizuki are expected to feature in the first half of Version 5.4, with Sigewinne and Furina headlining the second half. The 4-Star characters set to appear are Mika, Gorou, Sayu, and Chongyun. There's a rumor about an Inazuma Chronicled Banner in the upcoming patch, but confirmation or debunking is likely to come during the developer livestream.
Genshin Impact: Banner Characters in Version 5.4
Mizuki – 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Wriothesley – 5-Star Cryo Catalyst
Sigewinne – 5-Star Hydro Bow
Furina – 5-Star Hydro Sword
Mika – 4-Star Cryo Polearm
Gorou – 4-Star Geo Bow
Sayu – 4-Star Anemo Claymore
Chongyun – 4-Star Cryo Claymore
Note that the 4-Star characters are listed without a specific order. If Version 5.4 does feature an Inazuma Chronicled Banner, Gorou and Sayu would likely appear in the phase without the Chronicled Banner. Given past patterns, both first and second half placements are possible. Mika stands out as a valuable character, synergizing well with both Furina and Wriothesley.
Speculating about the final two spots on the Event Banners, many players hope for Charlotte's return. She hasn't appeared on the Event Banners since Version 4.2 and missed Furina's rerun in Version 4.7. Noelle, who synergizes well with both Furina and Gorou, might also make an appearance in the second half. While there are stronger 4-Star options, this setup would provide Sayu, Mika, and Gorou with much-needed reruns on the Event Banners.
