After a delay earlier this year, the much-anticipated open-world mobile shooter, Grand Outlaws, has finally soft launched in the US. Hardbit Studio has confirmed that the game is now available on Google Play, starting today, May 15th. While the initial release is exclusive to Android users in the US, fans around the globe can look forward to a broader rollout.

The additional development time was well spent, according to the developers, who used it to enhance the game's locations, boost performance, and introduce more content. This effort has resulted in a more expansive and stable experience, setting the stage for a full release later this year.

At launch, Grand Outlaws offers three exciting core modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. These modes are designed for quick, action-packed gameplay with intuitive mobile-friendly controls and easy access to an array of weapons, vehicles, and customization options. Players can freely switch between these modes or explore the open world at their leisure.

ytWhile the soft launch is Android-only, Hardbit Studio has a comprehensive multi-platform strategy in place. A full release on Android and the Epic Store is scheduled for July or August, with iOS and PC versions coming to Steam and Epic in October. Console enthusiasts can anticipate ports for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch in 2026. Cross-platform play is also on the development roadmap.

Looking to the future, Hardbit Studio is planning a series of content updates that will include new modes such as Heists and Destruction Derby, along with live events, a cinematic story mode, and expanded customization options for characters and hideouts. The studio is also exploring brand collaborations and seasonal content drops to keep the game fresh and engaging.

Sergey Agafonov, Lead Game Designer, summed up the game's appeal with a playful remark: “Here, you can shoot money from a gun, steal a car dressed as Buttman, and win a Battle Royale — all before your coffee gets cold.”

US Android users are the first to get their hands on Grand Outlaws during this soft launch phase, starting May 15th.
