Hades 2 Set for Exclusive Release on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Exciting news for fans of the acclaimed roguelite series: Hades 2 is set to launch on both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. While an exact release date hasn't been announced yet, developer Supergiant has confirmed that the much-anticipated sequel will hit PC and Nintendo Switch 2, alongside the original Switch, simultaneously later this year.

The announcement came following last week's Nintendo Direct, where it was initially revealed that Hades 2 would be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. Supergiant Games took to X/Twitter to clarify that not only will Hades 2 be available on both Switch 1 and Switch 2, but it will also enjoy a timed exclusivity period on Nintendo's platforms.

Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch.

Currently, it remains unclear when Hades 2 will expand to other consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. As fans eagerly await more details, the promise of a simultaneous release across these platforms is a thrilling prospect.
