Star Wars Celebration has officially announced that Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in Season 2 of Ahsoka.

Although details of Anakin’s involvement remain scarce, fans will undoubtedly be thrilled to learn that Ahsoka’s journey with her former master is far from over.

Christensen joined the Ahsoka panel at Star Wars Celebration and reflected on his return to the iconic character.

"It was a dream come true," Christensen remarked. "Their approach to incorporating the World Between Worlds was brilliant. I found the entire concept incredibly exciting."

Dave Filoni, the series creator, humorously noted that he had to "invent entire dimensions" just to work with Christensen as Anakin once again.

Christensen also mentioned extensive discussions with the creative team about Anakin’s untold experiences during the Clone Wars.

"While these stories were wonderfully told in animation, I was thrilled to bring them to life in live-action," he said. "And as much as I love the classic Jedi robes from the prequels, it was exciting to introduce a fresh look for Anakin."

Later in the panel, Filoni explained how his and Christensen's shared background working with George Lucas strengthened their collaboration in reintroducing Anakin. This synergy allowed them to round out each other’s understanding and build a rich portrayal of the character.

"I always hear George's voice in my head saying, 'faster, more intense!'" Christensen added.
