Helldivers 2 DLC

Helldivers 2 receives regular updates with balance tweaks and new content like weapons and gear. For example, the February 2025 Servants of Freedom Warbond added a variety of new weapons, armor, and cosmetics. The August 2024 Escalation of Freedom update ramped up the challenge with a harder difficulty setting, more objectives and missions, gameplay refinements, and new enemy types.

Helldivers 2: Omens of Tyranny

The Omens of Tyranny expansion for Helldivers 2 was surprise-released during The Game Awards 2024, marking the return of the Illuminate faction, an enemy absent from the series since the first game. These foes use mind control to turn citizens into "The Voteless," forcing them to oppose Super Earth's democracy. The update also adds urban combat zones within besieged Super Earth colonies.

To combat this threat, a new squad transport vehicle arrives: the Fast Recon Vehicle (FRV). This stratagem lets the entire team ride together across the battlefield, with passengers able to engage enemies while on the move.

Helldivers 2 Warbonds

A new Warbond, Borderline Justice, was introduced on March 20, 2025. This is a permanent addition to Helldivers 2's progression. Unlike limited-time battle passes, Warbonds have no expiration, letting players unlock rewards at their own pace using medals earned in-game. The Warbond itself can be bought with Super Credits, earned through play or purchase.

Borderline Justice features a Wild West-themed arsenal, including the R-6 Deadeye lever-action rifle, the LAS-58 Talon energy revolver, and TED-63 Dynamite throwables. It also adds the LIFT-860 Hover Pack, a stratagem that allows for short hovering bursts.

Beyond weapons, the Warbond includes two new armor sets: the medium GS-17 Frontier Marshal and the heavy GS-66 Lawmaker. Both feature the Gunslinger passive, which improves reload speed, reduces recoil, and enhances weapon handling. New capes, banners, and emotes like the "Tip Hat" are also unlockable. The Warbond costs 1,000 Super Credits, with rewards unlocked by earning medals on missions.

Helldivers 2 Pre-Orders

Standard Edition

Helldivers 2 is available for purchase on Steam and the PlayStation Store. The Standard Edition is priced at $39.99. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition granted the following bonus items:
