Kojima Provides Positive Update on Death Stranding 2

Hideo Kojima recently announced on social media that the principal voice cast for the Japanese dub of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has finished their work. The famed game designer noted that although recording for this version is still underway, it appears to be in its final stages.

Over the last few days, the actors were focused on a pivotal scene featuring six of the game's central characters. To mark the occasion, the team held a small celebration and took several group photos. Kojima expressed mixed feelings, saying he was both happy and sad to see the actors go, but he is very much looking forward to collaborating with them again in the future.

More information about Death Stranding 2 is scheduled to be unveiled at the SXSW 2025 festival on the evening of March 10th. It is still unclear if the game's official release date will be part of that announcement.
