Jedi Survivors of Order 66 Ranked

This month, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, the epic conclusion to the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. Launched on May 19, 2005, it was the last Star Wars film overseen by George Lucas before he handed over the reins of Lucasfilm to Disney in 2012.

Anticipation was high for Revenge of the Sith as fans awaited the pivotal moment when Anakin Skywalker would succumb to the Dark Side and transform into Darth Vader. A major plot point was the fate of the Jedi during the execution of Order 66, a sinister command from Emperor Palpatine that turned the loyal Clone Troopers against their Jedi commanders. With thousands of Jedi scattered across the galaxy, it was inevitable that some would escape this purge, leading to intriguing stories of survival and resistance.

In the years since, canon Star Wars narratives have introduced us to dozens of Jedi who managed to survive Order 66. Here, we rank the top 10 survivors who have left a significant mark on the Star Wars universe. These Jedi, ranging from Padawans to Jedi Masters, and even some young Initiates, lived to fight another day after Palpatine's devastating order. Their stories vary, with some surviving only briefly, while others played key roles well into the future, with a few fates still shrouded in mystery.

To qualify for this list, characters must have been part of the Jedi Order before Order 66, regardless of their final rank. This excludes non-Jedi Force users like Maul and Palpatine, as well as those like Jod Na Nawood who never officially joined the Order. The case of Asajj Ventress, trained by Jedi Master Ky Narec but never formally recognized by the Jedi Council, is a gray area. Trained in isolation on Rattatak and later turning to the Dark Side under Count Dooku, she's considered an honorable mention rather than a full inclusion on our list.
