Elden Ring Movie director Alex Garland is reportedly considering reuniting with his Warfare star Kit Connor for A24 and Bandai Namco's adaptation of the 2022 RPG phenomenon.
Industry outlet Deadline first reported Garland's interest in casting Connor for an unspecified role, with Variety confirming the discussions while noting no official offer has been extended yet.
The actor previously collaborated with Garland on last month's intense war drama Warfare, portraying a U.S. Navy SEAL caught in an Iraqi combat zone.
Connor's diverse credits include Netflix's Heartstopper, HBO's His Dark Materials, and video game performances in A Plague Tale: Requiem and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

Details remain scarce about how Connor might fit into the cinematic adaptation of Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin's dark fantasy world, as the film's narrative approach hasn't been revealed.
Following last week's announcement of Garland helming the project, the Ex Machina director will also write the screenplay. Martin joins as producer alongside DNA's Peter Rice, Andrew Macdonald, and Allon Reich.
The production timeline remains uncertain, with no announced release date for the highly anticipated adaptation.
While fans speculate about potential casting choices, reactions to the initial movie announcement from FromSoftware's dedicated player base continue circulating online.
