NetEase has unveiled the major updates for the second half of Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. On February 11, 2025, they announced the arrival of Human Torch and The Thing, along with a rank reset, in an eagerly anticipated blog post.

Mark your calendars for February 21, 2025, when the Fantastic Four will be fully represented in Marvel Rivals. Human Torch, classified as a Duelist, and The Thing, a Vanguard, will join the fray, completing the iconic team. NetEase is also set to introduce significant balance adjustments that "are expected to shake up the battlefield during the second half of Season 1." While some heroes will receive buffs, others will be nerfed to accommodate these new additions. However, the specifics of these balance changes remain under wraps for now.

Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman made their debut in the first half of the season as Duelist and Strategist, respectively. Season 1 also introduced three new maps, special events, and a thrilling new game mode, Doom Match.
