Following the electrifying conclusion of the 2024 Esports World Cup, fans of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang are eagerly awaiting the return of the Women’s Invitational (MWI) in July 2025. The tournament will take place in Riyadh, where last year, Smart Omega Empress achieved a historic victory, ending Team Vitality's impressive three-year, 24-tournament winning streak in the Grand Final.

The stakes have escalated for MWI 2025, with 16 top-tier all-women MLBB teams set to compete from July 15th to 19th for a record-breaking prize pool. The event will commence with a double-elimination Group Stage, followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket for the top eight teams. The total prize pool stands at $550,000, with an additional $10,000 MVP bonus for the tournament's standout player.

This year's qualifiers are more inclusive, drawing top talent from various regions. Teams like DreamMax, CFU Serendipity, NAVI MY, and Falcons Vega MENA have already secured their spots through regional qualifiers. Additional teams will join them via ongoing tournaments such as BOG Season 1, Athena League, and Lady MVP Season 6, along with qualifiers from China, North America, Mekong, Mongolia, and Türkiye.

MWI 2025 is a key part of the larger Esports World Cup 2025, which features a unique cross-game format. As the defending champions, Smart Omega Empress will face stiff competition from global contenders, making their title defense anything but certain.
