Netflix Unveils First DLC for Rise of the Golden Idol: The Sins of New Wells

Netflix's *Rise of the Golden Idol* is set to enhance its mobile gaming experience with the release of its first DLC, *The Sins of New Wells*, on March 4th. This expansion will not only be available on mobile devices but also on PC and consoles. Notably, for mobile users, the DLC will be completely free as part of Netflix Gaming.

What’s in Store?

*The Sins of New Wells* promises an intensified narrative, plunging players into a deeper world of mystery, crime, and Lemurian magic. The setting is New Wells, a place riddled with more problems than your average city or town. Here, homicide detective Roy Samson finds himself transferred to the 9th District, a notorious area where justice is but a myth.

Amidst rampant corruption and crime as a way of life, Roy teams up with his new partner, Cliff Savea, to tackle a series of brutal crimes. Their investigation soon uncovers a sinister underbelly that's far worse than they anticipated.

This DLC introduces four new cases: *Following Orders*, *Trouble Unleashed*, *The Raid*, and *Unraveling*. Each case is a complex web of crime, deception, and mystery. Players will navigate through interrogating mostly dishonest characters and solving intricate puzzles to piece together the truth. Be prepared; a certain madness pervades New Wells.

*The Sins of New Wells*, the inaugural DLC for *Rise of the Golden Idol*, will be available to mobile players starting at 9 AM PT or 5 PM GMT on launch day. Color Gray Games has teased that this is just the beginning, with plans for at least four more DLCs in 2025.
